We are thrilled to announce a brand-new project at BomGo—Salsa for Seniors, a bimonthly free salsa and social dance project specially designed for people aged 55 and over in Elephant and Castle, London!
Held at the welcoming Draper Hall, this community programme provides a joyful space where older adults can stay active, connect with others, and experience the joy of Latin dance in a relaxed and supportive setting. Starting Thursday 12th June, the sessions will run every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month from 7–9pm.

About the Project and Our Collaborators
Salsa for Seniors is a collaboration between BomGo, SASalsa, Draper Together, and Southwark Charities.
The dance sessions are delivered by the energetic and experienced teachers from SASalsa, known for creating fun, inclusive dance spaces across London. With years of experience and a people-first approach, SASalsa’s instructors are the perfect team to lead these classes—encouraging confidence, mobility, and social engagement at every step.
The sessions take place at Draper Hall, a lively community venue managed by Draper Together. Draper Together is a local non-profit organisation offering grassroots activities, cultural events, and wellbeing programmes that empower residents of all ages. Their venue is an ideal, welcoming space for neighbours to meet and build friendships.
This project is made possible with the incredible support of Southwark Charities, an organisation committed to enriching the lives of older residents through housing, grants, and social opportunities. Their support helps initiatives like this reach the people who benefit most—providing access to enriching, joyful experiences for free.

Why Salsa? Why Now?
At BomGo, we believe that movement and creativity are for everyone—at every stage of life. Salsa, with its infectious rhythms and simple steps, is the perfect way to stay active, boost mood, and spark connections.
As our cities evolve, it's vital that we continue to create inclusive spaces where older adults feel seen, celebrated, and invited to participate. Salsa for Seniors aims to be one of those spaces—a place where the joy of dance helps nurture community bonds.
Whether you're new to salsa or have danced before, you are welcome to join.
