BomGo opens its doors and with this we have the first incorporation: Blomo!
Producer, multi-instrumentalist, composer and sound engineer, Blomo is a Spanish artist based in Cambridge, capable of working on different styles and genres, with both analogue and digital tools.
Due to his multidisciplinary influences, his range of knowledge includes Latin, Asian, African, European rhythms and melodies … as well as experience in the recording process, in the studio and in the live stage.
"Since I was a child, I have been attracted to music. Before even walking, I was already trying to emulate songs I listened on a small toy piano.
During my childhood I studied music theory and piano in an academy. After few years I taught myself guitar by ear. Later on, I joined two percussion bands for seven years. With the time I led one of them, teaching the new members and creating new rhythms.
Influenced by the classical music, the hip hop culture and later on the jazz, I learned to play more than 15 instruments at an amateur level, as well as the basics of music production during my early youth. Since then I have been creating different types of music under the name of Blomo. From classical arrangements, rock, progressive, to current trending genres as Hip Hop, House, Drum and Bass and much more, including 40 minutes soundtracks for traditional pyrotechnical shows.
In 2016 I moved to Bristol to live from gigs, busking, and producing on my own. This lasted six months, followed by a year of pause and reflection.
Over time, I realized that composing and recording was not enough to achieve professional results. I moved to Cambridge where I applied for Audio and Music Technology degree. This was the beginning of a stage focused on learning and developing all the necessary skills to become a professional sound engineer."
